JOIMR brings together all the elements needed for successful medical publishing in this digital age - authors, with innovative information and concepts they need to communicate - peer reviewers, to ensure that the highest standard of communication is maintained - and the digital archive of Life Sciences literature maintained by PubMed Central (Click Here for more detailed description).
No money changes hands - all participation in JOIMR is voluntary, from the Advisory Board right down to the folks coding the website. Each of us benefits from the public service that we are sharing. There are no perks, no glitz. Whether you are an Author, a Peer-Reviewer, or a Visitor - welcome to "Collaborative Publishing for the 21st Century". Collaborative publishing doesn't require very much energy from any of us - it requires just a little bit of energy from every one of us.
PLEASE NOTE: At this point we are still working on the paperwork with PubMed Central, and the distribution agreement has not yet been signed.
